This
is person I unearthed after becoming a coach. My health and fitness
journey had only just begun when I started. I didn't need to know how to
be a coach and I didn't need any certifications. Everything I needed to
know was learned. As I grew, and became more of the person I had
always wanted to be I was able to motivate, encourage and take other
women along with me on this amazing journey. I don't
know where that woman in the middle of this pic collage would be if I
hadn't found this opportunity or without these women that walk with me
daily on this amazing adventure.

If you feel like I did, like
there has got to be something more out there for you. Like you and your
life aren't what you thought it would be and you need something to turn
your life around. A community of women to walk with you hand and hand so
your not alone that you can learn from everyday. This is your chance.
New Coach Academy starts December 1st. Come learn and grow a business
that can forever change you and your life. Drop an "I'm in" below, or
shoot me a private message and I will reach out to you with the details.
Life is not going to slow down for you and change isn't going to fall into your lap...well..... except for right now...
Happy Sunday peeps, I know even now that Thanksgiving is over the real hustle and bustle begins right? People are working extra hours for Christmas money, your regular obligations like kids and family remain the same and you have to find time for shopping (first world problems as my daughter would say...lol ) But, it's rough, but you can't sacrifice taking care of you too.
So I have a few tips that might help you remain on track;

1. If you can't get to the gym or get in your workout every single day make your goal to get in at least 3 a week and start early. The earlier you get that sweat session in the less likely you are to skip it.
2. Do interval workouts like (HIIT) Intervals help you burn more calories in less time. There are a ton on Youtube and every Workout Wednesday I post in here is based in High Intensity Training.
3. Utilize everyday activities: Park your car further away from your office or the store. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. If your at a desk all day take a break and do some walking lunges.
And 4. Do strength training first, you'll have more energy at the beginning of your workout to push yourself and tap into your fat stores then do cardio within 15-20 minutes of your weight session. I hope that was helpful, now go meal prep :)
Many people have asked me "why am I a coach". Why aren't you going to
use the degrees you are getting to become a personal trainer or a
nutritionist?....Well...... quite simply....... because I love being a
coach. Coaching isn't about selling....in fact I'm not even good at
sales so you don't have to worry about that if you are considering
coaching for yourself. It's about changing lives and helping people by
referring them to programs that I wholeheartedly believe in because they've changed mine.
You see I am like so many women that have tried it on their own. They
don't know what to do or where to turn and they are hopeless, miserable
and just not enjoying life. They are going through the daily motions and
not for one second "LIVING" anymore. I remember looking at myself in
the mirror one day and thinking...."this is not the life I signed up
for, this isn't who I wanted to be when I was a little girl". I was
looking for something, something more than what I was doing and I needed
help. That is when God answered my prayers and sent me this family of
coaches to help pull me up out of the gutter, dust myself off and find
myself again...through these programs and their love and
support....that's how I got my life back. It's how I got me back. So
that is what I do and that is why I am a coach. Because for that woman
that is out their praying for a change in her life and she is miserable,
I want to be there to pay it forward, to give back what was so freely
given to me by my coach family...."MY LIFE".

This opportunity,
these women, these relationships, the self confidence and self love I
gained through this opportunity was like breath in my lungs. I could
breathe again, the sun shined brighter, flowers were more
vibrant......(exhale) I was finally alive again. I became a better wife,
mother, sister, daughter and friend because of these women and these
programs. That's what coaching is about and that is what I love to
do....help that down and out woman, get her life back.
I have been drinking this shake for over two years now and my husband
and daughter have been drinking it for over a year. I am not sure
where I would be without it. There are days that I am literally battling
temptations in the car as I am passing fast food places and I will
repeat to myself "just get home and have your shake", "just get home and
have your shake".... over and over. It really is like that for me.

It satisfies my chocolate cravings and loads me up with all of
the superfoods that I used to buy as supplements (chia seeds, maca
root, wheat grass etc). There are countless days that knowing that was
waiting for me at home saved me from the dreaded drive through. So
instead of $6-$8 bucks a day on horrible fast food that would leave me
with feelings of regret, defeat and self doubt. I spend $4 to ensure I
stay on track, nourish my body and feel great about myself. To me that's
priceless. I never buy fast food anymore EVER and maybe once or twice a
month I get takeout, it's just not necessary to me anymore.... so I am
actually saving money. When your body is getting everything it needs on a
cellular level, it craves less junk. That has been scientifically
proven (sorry, I am a little bit of a science nerd). When something has
contributed to the positive changes in your life you no longer see it as
an expense, at least that's how it is for me
❤️️
Not anymore.

One of the things that personal development made me start thinking
about was my dreams. It made me think back to when I was a little girl
and remember what I used to dream about. I thought about what was behind
those dreams, why did I want to be or become the things I dreamed
about.
I guess to understand my dreams you would have to know
where I come from. You see I grew up poor, in the inner city of
Philadelphia. My father worked two jobs and my mom was a stay at
home mom when I was a little girl. I remember when she decided to go
back to school to get her diploma. Mostly because there were no longer
tastykakes waiting for us on the dining room table after school....lol I
even remember what made her decide to do that. She upset about our
family situation and decided she wanted better for herself and her
family, so she went back to school. Now that I think about that, I guess
she was my first influence to going after a better life...thanks Mom.
Since that day I've always known that if I wanted more for my life all I
had to do was go after it. I realized I could determine how great my
life was, my income, my self confidence and my inner belief that was
instilled in me drove me to work harder.... for me..... because I saw my
mother do it.
I WAS already a hard worker (when it was something
I wanted) -but as I got older I saw that didn't matter to Corporate
America. As long as I showed up to my job on time and sat in my cubicle-
I could be an average producer and make the same amount of money. Or I
could work crazy long hours and make a ton of money but miss my kids
grow up, their games and performances. There simply wasn't enough value
in that life and in most cases I was considered replaceable, I didn't
matter. My hustle didn't count. I was an employee...expendable and
forgettable. But thanks to my mom, that wasn't good enough for me and I
wanted more.
Dreaming bigger began with deciding I was worth
more. After I started having kids, I saw my time as so much more
valuable. I knew the life I wanted to give them and I didn't want to
waste my life or my time making someone else money! My desires were
valid and important and deserving of all the time and effort I could
invest. I had to climb out of the employee mindset and start thinking
like a CEO... because that's what I am- we are all the CEOs of our
lives. I absolutely love my life. #thatcoachlife
